Here is our port of the very popular jQueryHelp Smileys package, for Ning 3.0!

There are well over 300 Ning networks that have our smiley package on them.  Now we'll be converting it to work on the Ning 3.0 platform. This is our first version and works for comments on photos and blogs.

[JULY 2013 - Code updated to fix the Photobucket image issue, read more here: http://jqueryhelp.ning.com/forum/topics/ning-3-0-emoticons]

If you want to try it out on your Ning 3.0 site, please add this code to your Custom Code "End of Page Code" box:

<!-- Setup file for More Smileys - Add your own custom Smileys -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://api.ning.com:80/files/3vrxTCw6TBxQ28vy-AJA0xAiYJXyYqKSzovM5qtyCenxxL0XaZ4OzOfuoGlGREC*aJ2HGqmX*H-Gag9JcugqNL6HHIkvmK1u/BKMoreSmileyData2.js"></script>
<!-- Smileys 7A for Ning 3.0 - from TJ at http:// jQueryHelp.ning.com - DO NOT DELETE THIS! -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://api.ning.com:80/files/TpH3GRQjXIN3CU0GhEMsHmxZ3XJtkOt8X8k3T6-6Z3GXLMpdvwAICyMjIifrMZ4OWPRiWPA9RESpi5-WjuyxdxDSQe6rJV2a/SmileyTest7A.js"></script>

If you want to try this, copy it exactly as you see it here into your custom code box.  DO NOT Change Anything!

I suggest you to make a more stylish version, ning 3 is more chic . For my private message, call me when you have the time. Best

I'm glad you got strait onto this Tj, a site without smileys would be unbearable , They work perfect in Ning 3

@Riccardo - I think the area where the smileys are shown for you to click on them to add them is in a div that you can style, I'll look more into that, thanks for the suggestion!

@Dave  Thanks for the feedback, glad you like them and they work for you!

Oh wow, thanks for the feedback!  My tablet is Android.  I think it worked on there but I'll check that again too.  Anyone else having trouble with Smileys on iPads?  Not sure what the problem could be since I don't have the device to test it on.  Might be a good excuse to buy myself an iPad

I have both (and won't say what I like better in fear of the Apple rebellion), but haven't tried it on my Tab2 yet (was going to, but battery died). The "More" link opens, but I can never get a smiley to insert. Works fine on regular computers. I'll try it on Tab 2 and make sure there isn't a prob with a conflicting script....but like I said, it works fine from regular computer...hhmmm

Pay attention TJ because I remarked that often, if someone uso ONLY smiles to comment something, in NING 3.0 the comment is classified as spam
